Hollywood’s Greatest Investigators (A Matrix)

From sneaky private detectives to snarky doctors, investigators come in many shapes and sizes, particularly on television and film. The majority of them are united by a desire to solve complicated problems despite the skepticism of their peers. And while we usually know these investigators will emerge triumphant after a series of obstacles, we are willing to suspend disbelief for the sake of entertainment. Along these lines, if everyone believed Dr. House’s diagnosis at the beginning of each show, episodes wouldn’t last longer than 10 minutes. “House” would’ve been cancelled before we got a chance to see House’s drug addiction.

Over the years, investigators have tackled matters both serious and funny, grandious and trivial. But fortunately, as the investigators in our own KoldCast TV show, “Safety Geeks,” teach us, you don’t need to be a genius, or even Gregory House, to solve an investigation. In the same vein of our TGIF Matrix that we premiered earlier this month, we’ve created another one for some of Hollywood’s greatest investigators.
