		<description>I figure Ang Lee should get a mention.  Without Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Zhang Ziyi wouldn&#039;t be so internationally well known and we wouldn&#039;t see so many lavish historical war/martial arts epics being made specifically for the American market.  Jet Li also had a pretty big impact perhaps not quite as much as Jackie.  I would also say Zhang YiMou films especially those starring Gong Li were influential too.</description>

		<description>The Last Airbender might be Japanese anime-inspired, but it&#039;s a US production.  Hence, it&#039;s not Japanese anime and should definitely not be put in with Ghost in the Shell or Astroboy.  It is a great series, but it is not Japanese.</description>
