Arguments can arise from a number of circumstances. Perhaps you’ve had a fight with your spouse. Maybe you had a bad day at work. Maybe some unknown persons have threatened to ruin a much anticipated annual neighborhood barbeque – like Stack Power (not Jack Bauer) of the parody series 00:24. Whatever your plight may be, a level head and some deep breaths can usually calm our nerves and bring us back to normal – resulting in a civilized resolution to the issue. However, sometimes anger can get the better of us, making us do strange, strange things.

00:24 – Episode 1

1. Chicken McNuggets Rage (Part 1)

Something about McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets makes people go insane. In the summer of 2010, an Ohio woman went into a fit at her local golden arches drive-thru when she couldn’t get her McNugget fix. The McDonald’s employees had to close the drive-through window after she attacked one of them. This only enraged the customer into throwing a bottle through the window before driving away. The police were called, and the angry customer was charged with vandalism. She was advised to stay far away from the McDonald’s in question.

2. Stand By Your Man

According to police (and Failblog), 24-year-old Candace Kiley attacked a 12-year-old for looking at her boyfriend. The worst part of the story? It all went down at a family birthday party.

3. She Got The Wurst Of It

In Iowa, a woman was allegedly assaulted with bratwurst – yes, a German sausage – after she refused to fight a homeless person during an argument over childcare. I’m not sure which part of this story is stranger – the proposed fight with a homeless person to resolve a heated debate over social issues or the reckless disregard for a decent meal.

4. Fruit vs. Beast

Also in Ohio, a banana picked a fight with a gorilla… and won. A young man in a banana costume attacked a gorilla suit-wearing mascot outside a Verizon store, jumping on him before running away. I think the store manager said it best, “Bizarre, not normal of the food chain. That’s not really how this works. The gorilla should have won.”

5. Improper Parenting 101

Public transportation in Toronto got a bit dangerous when one passenger on a streetcar assaulted another… using her three-year-old as her weapon of choice. According to the cops, after an altercation over an unknown topic, the woman picked her daughter up out of her stroller and started hitting the other passenger with her young one.

6. Chicken McNuggets Rage (Part 2)

Police were not amused when Latreasa L. Goodman of Florida called 911 not once, not twice, but three times to complain after her local McDonald’s sold out of Chicken McNuggets and “forced” her to buy a McDouble. After her third complaint, officers arrived on the scene to arrest Ms. Goodman for improper use of 911. No one knows if she ever got her McDouble or her money back.
