Six Must See Sci-Fi Shows on Internet TV

By Jane Sussman

Sometimes life’s routine can veer into the mundane. We hit the snooze button a few times, pour some milk over the healthy cardboard flakes, and crawl through bumper to bumper until we arrive at our modest cubicles where a stack of to-do’s awaits. If we’re not too tired, maybe we’ll swap war stories with a friend over a beer later that night.

This begs the question. What would you give to escape? Even if just for a few minutes, what if a fantastical world was at your disposal, where the laws of physics are a matter of opinion and the janitor’s closet door opens an inter-dimensional portal?

Enter KoldCast TV, the premiere destination for online science fiction entertainment. All that’s actually required of you is a few clicks of the mouse. KoldCast is home to the most diverse, captivating, and imaginative Sci-Fi Internet TV shows. Whether you crave answers to life’s deepest dilemmas brought about by technology and the occult, or are just trying to escape the daily doldrums, these six shows will satiate your appetite.

The Vetala

Lily Callahan is an intrepid college newspaper reporter in a dogged search to expose the gun trafficking of an organized crime ring known only as “The Syndicate.”  After following a tip from an anonymous source, Lily is shot twice – once directly in her heart. And it’s at this seemingly dead end that the series begins. Lily miraculously lives to continue chasing her story all the while attempting to figure out how she survived a point blank gunshot and what the connection is between her supernatural resurrection and the crime group she’s attempting to expose.

Lily’s story is told in such a dark and ominous way that the supernatural undertones cooking beneath the surface of the investigation are enough to drive us crazy with curiosity. What is The Vetala? What is The Syndicate really after? And what does it all have to do with an ancient Hindu mythology? Helping Lily unravel it all is Alex Reed, her ever-concerned fellow reporter, in a race to expose The Syndicate before both journalists are silenced – this time permanently.

Cable Counterpart: Fringe – Lily and Alex are reluctant partners who must rely on each other to piece together a criminal conspiracy surrounded by supernatural occurrences.
