A new drug allows the resurrection of recently deceased people for up to three days. Terminal patients, war heroes, murder victims: they all get to use the drug after their harrowing ends. But the rest of the population dies of natural causes and untimely accidents and wants their second chances too. Stories arise the world over as fallen soldiers return home, a serial killer abuses the drug for his own sick fantasies, families fight to see their loved ones again, corporations vie for control over the serum, and the question is asked: How will you spend your last weekend?
